With almost 25 years experience, Independent Living Agency is one of the main payroll providers for people employing PAs and receiving care in East London.

We provide a service suited to your needs and not “one service fits all” type of service. Our experience and our organization’s ethos provide the guidance to make this achievable and possible.

Any queries and issues you may have will be answered and resolved by our team who are here to help you with any problems you may encounter. You will be allocated an account manager who will be familiar with your individual account and will be your first point of contact. 

 

We provide payroll service for people receiving:

  • Direct Payments from the local authority

  • Personal Health Budgets

  • People who fund their own care.

 

If you are funding your own care we can help you to prepare a breakdown of your budget and provide all the support you need to meet your obligations.

OUR SERVICES

Managed Accounts

Payroll service or a combination of payroll and agency invoices

  • We will set up your payroll scheme

  • Ensure your employees are paid correctly and on time

  • We make all the necessary Tax deductions

  • Complete all returns/submissions and payments to HMRC

  • Provide payslips, P60s and P45s for your PAs

  • Provide you with payroll summaries and other information on your account

  • Help you comply with the Automatic Enrolment duties and setting up a pension scheme for your employees

  • Liaise with the local authority or other funding organizations to provide monitoring information on your behalf

  • Pay care agencies and other service invoices

  • Help you manage your funds effectively

 

Payroll Only Service

We process the payroll but you hold and manage your funds 

  • We set up your payroll scheme

  • We make all the necessary Tax deductions

  • Complete all returns/submissions and payments to HMRC

  • Provide payslips, P60s and P45s for your PAs

  • Provide you with payroll summaries and other information on your account

  • Help you comply with the Automatic Enrolment duties and setting up a pension scheme for your employees

Managed accounts - Please inform the Direct Payments team of your local authority, that Independent Living Agency will be managing your budget. Once we receive the referral we will contact you with all the necessary information to set up the account.
